![]() Mark Allison Contact Information Office: Sturges 310 Specialty Nineteenth-Century British Literature, Utopian Literature, and Critical theory Education Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley Biography Professor Allison specializes in the literature and culture of nineteenth-century Britain. His research interests include intellectual history and historicism, utopian literature and theory, and the British novel. He is currently working on a book manuscript that examines the interconnections between Victorian theories of agency and historical periodization.
