The Michael C. Quinn Memorial Reading  
 

The Michael C. Quinn Memorial Fiction Reading was established in 1984 by Scott Sommer (OWU, 1973) in memory of Michael Quinn who died in 1983. A Politics & Government major and member of Phi Beta Kappa at Ohio Wesleyan, Quinn graduated in 1974 with magna cum laude honors. As a student at OWU one of the things Michael enjoyed was attending the readings given by visiting fiction writers and so in his memory a writer is brought to Ohio Wesleyan each year with the annual income from this account.
